Levi Asher

Levi Asher is the founder, principal writer, and developer of Literary Kicks, the oldest continuously operating literary website on the internet. He has earned recognition as a pioneer of the online literary scene, and one of the earliest proto-bloggers. Other works include Coffeehouse: Writings from the Web, the first anthology of online writing; Notes from Underground, a digital movie adaptation of Dostoyevsky’s novel; Action Poetry, an anthology of Literary Kicks writings; and Beats in Time: A Literary Generation’s Legacy. Asher has also built and collaborated on websites for Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Pearl Jam. He lives in New York and Washington, DC.
