Hilary Holladay

Hilary Holladay founded the Kerouac Center for American Studies and the Kerouac Conference on Beat Literature at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell and has taught Beat literature for nearly two decades. She is the author of seven books, both scholarly and creative, including a novel, Tipton, and a biography of Herbert Huncke, which will be reissued in August 2015 as Herbert Huncke: The Time Square Hustler Who Inspired Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation (Schaffner Press). She lives in Orange County, Va.
